Biography
Hiyuli
Liberman was born in Israel in 1979. She obtained her
Bachelor of Fine Arts at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design,
Jerusalem. During her studies she used various materials and
Medias: photography, video, use of ready-mades, installation
art as well as glass and ceramics.
She spent period of six months in an exchange program at
University of Westminster, London.
In 2004
she had a solo exhibition – "State of Matter" at Nachshon
Gallery, Kibbutz Nachshon, Israel. There she had exhibited
her installation inspired by casting technique and made out
of ceramics and glass. Soon after graduating she decided to
get professional in the field of glass in Kiln – casting
technique. In 2005 she has been awarded a Master of Arts in
Glass, with distinction, at the University of Sunderland, at
the NGC – National Glass Center, United Kingdom. In
June
2007 she received a full scholarship for The Studio at
Corning Museum of Glass, USA from The Studio at the
Corning Museum of Glass, and in
cooperation with AIDA (Association of Israeli Decorative
Arts).
